The question arises:

Why would the Watchtower Society include, in the Online Library, references that cannot be accessed. The answer jumps out to 'a thinking person' [Watchtower terminology] that the many words are mainly for show, to give the appearance of more. When one tries to link to the references most are blank. It would be a sure guess that headquarters gave much thought to the image of the library. Thankfully, for the Society, most people couldn't care less and would not give it any thought. However, a 'thinking person' [Watchtower terminology] would be disturbed that these were mentioned in subject lists with no way to make the link to continue their research. I suspect very few people that go to jw.org are disturbed at this.

DA: Today I used my typewriter and fountain pen

last week my mother (i live with her) gave me some clues that she finally awoke, and well, that came to be true and we now speak openly against many many things i considered taboo to talk to her.

so with that achieved, it was time for a delayed duty, i took my typewriter one wrote my da letter, and signed it with my favorite fountain pen, with my "trade mark" royal blue ink (everyone in the hall knew me for using that color and type of pen).

i will hand it to the elders tomorrow, in february 14th, the "day of love".

Frame the pen and mount it on the wall. A date attached, written with that fountain pen, would be a nice touch.

If someone asks about it you may choose to tell them it just has special meaning to you. A gift I gave myself that day.

Overlapping Generation

his explanation of this scripture was by means of a chart to indicate an overlapping generation.. .

no scripture was used to show the overlapping generation concept, and as a result it makes no sense.. to illustrate how crazy this concept is, look at the lyrics of the song my generation.. my generation.

Elder #2 - Yes, Mary, you should do that. Joan and myself like to go to River Park. They even have a nice, new bridge over the river. Why not drive down in your car and park. You could walk out onto the new bridge and enjoy the view of the water down below. It will be a real comfort to you.
